Mount Sinai is a rocky peak located in the South Sinai Governorate (Governorate) of South Sinai.

This is often called Jabal Musa or Jabal Hara. In Hebrew, it is called Har Sinai; in Arabic, it is called Mount Our Lady. In the Jewish tradition, the most important event occurred on Mount Sinai when God spoke to Moses. Jewish legend says God spoke to Moses on this mountain and gave him the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20; Deuteronomy 5).

The Jewish people believe that the Ten Commandments and the entire texts of the Bible and their meanings were given to Moses on Mount Sinai.

Trip to St. Catherine and Mousses Mountain

Today around 22.00 pm, meet and assist. Then We will travel to St. Catherine’s (3 hour’s drive). Upon arrival, relax and have coffee before rising around 1.00 am to climb Mount Sinai, where Mousses received

the Ten Commandments from God; enjoy the sunrise from the Mousses mountain top, then visit descend to visit the famous Monastery of St. Catherine’s, considered the oldest monastery in the world, dating from the 5th century.

It’s the place where you can see the holly burning tree and the holly well of mousses. Drive back to Sharm El Sheikh (3 hours), then Transfer to your Hotel.

Cancellation Policy

  • The whole amount will be charged if canceled less than 30 days prior to the check-in date.
  • 50% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 60 to 31 days prior to the check-in date.
  • 15% of the whole amount will be charged if canceled 90 to 61 days prior to the check-in date.
